Jayhawk Wireless Summer Camp for 9-12 High School Students

Summer Camp 2022

In this summer camp, students learn about the following topics:

  • The basics of signal processing
  • The basics of wireless communication, transmitter, and receiver architecture
  • MATLAB, Python, and other software tools for signal processing, wireless communications, and electrical engineering in general.
  • Software defined radios (SDR) and their applications
  • The camp includes two hands-on lab: (1) programming SDRs to capture FM radio signals, and (2) wireless image transfer over the air using SDR.
